Living in Dorset I am fortunate to have lots of fantastic locations on my doorstep to photograph. Poole Quay is one of my favourite locations, and I have recently taken some great shots of the nearly finished Twin Sails Bridge, which I will return to once it is completed.
Another recent successful shoot was of a sign post no less, called the Dorset Red Post. There are four Red Posts in Dorset, and I photographed the one near Bere Regis. Apparently they were used in years gone by help send prisoners from the prison in Dorchester on their way to Australia!
I also spend a lot of time in Poole Harbour, in some of the many quiet locations, photographing the quiet calm waters at sunrise and sunset, the best times of the day for a photographer!
